Next time I am in Rome - to check on what is new at Ermenegildo Zegna and Missoni - I shall definitely try sight-jogging. What an excellent idea: an ultra-fit tour guide picks you up from your hotel, takes you for an hour or so jog, explaining landmarks along the way. Say you are staying at The Eden - ideally in the 602 penthouse suite for its views, www.hotel-eden.it. You will be picked up there by your guide, and you both can jog down the Spanish Steps, across the Tiber to Castel San Angelo and St Peter's Basilica. The five-mile run is scheduled to last 90 minutes, the guides are multi-lingual, and all reservations can be made on their site. link |
