WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT?

May 2006

Carolina Gasparetto of Rome, Italy has knocked the cover off the ball of life: she sells running. Travelers to this vacation mecca can opt out of the clotted crowds, the crammed double-decker buses and instead be squired through Rome, running with a personal tour guide.
Sightjogging.it is Carolina's brainchild. In 2003, she realized that health-minded sightseers should enjoy being introduced to Rome's historical sites, artistic marvels, and beautiful panoramic views while doing what they love best running. "I think sometimes it is just a question of looking at things from a slightly different point of view or, if you prefer, it's a matter of putting some imagination on everyday life", she stated. Living your dream is a lot of rainbow to be somewhere over.
With a staff of 20 multilingual fitness trainers, your tour will be unique and accommodating, as you set the pace and choose from eight Sightjogging routes. (There is also a route for differently-abled athletes). Your guide will explain and discuss with you what you are about to see. Distances range from 2.8 to 5 miles and take 30 to 90 minutes.
Sightjogging.it is hiring fitness trainers and plans to offer tours in Venice, Naples and Florence.
